Dr. Crenshaw Appointed ARC Board Chair

Dr. Mike Crenshaw was appointed Chair of the Board of Governors of the Astrophysical Research Consortium (ARC). on July 1, 2017. GSU is a full partner in ARC, which owns and operates the Apache Point Observatory in New Mexico, including the 3.5-meter telescope and manages the Sloan Digital Sky Survey. Dr. Crenshaw says, “I’m excited about this new position, because it opens up new collaborative opportunities for our faculty and students and because it’s a reflection of the continuing growth of GSU’s stature in the scientific community.” Read the full story here.
